More Bnei Menashe are coming home!

We are pleased to publish the first edition of our Word from Jerusalem magazine for 2026 and would like to thank you so much for your loyal support during the past year. Be encouraged as you read through our 2025 Year-End Review, which highlights the many remarkable achievements we have accomplished together in blessing and comforting the people of Israel over the last twelve months.

Then on pages 4-6 of this issue, ICEJ President Dr. Jürgen Bühler begins the new year by sharing an encouraging teaching based on Genesis 1:28, highlighting the four simple commands that God gave to humanity in the Garden of Eden, which are still relevant for us today. Additionally, read an excellent teaching excerpt from our Feast of Tabernacles last October, when Anglican theologian Prof. Gerald McDermott covered the weighty topic of Paul and the Irrevocable Calling of Israel.

We are very excited to see that God is keeping His promise to “bring your descendants from the east” (Isaiah 43:5) with the resumed immigration of the Bnei Menashe tribe from northeast India home to Israel. Some of these families have been waiting for more than a decade to reunite with close relatives already in Israel, and the ICEJ is committed to supporting their Aliyah journey by covering their needs. Read more about these descendants from the ancient Israelite tribe of Manasseh, as well as the ICEJ’s other recent Aliyah activities on pages 16-17.

Meanwhile, the Christian Embassy continues to demonstrate practical, genuine love and concern for Israel by being your hands and feet in the Land. In our featured AID projects, discover how the ICEJ has helped an 81-year-old survivor rebuild her life after the October 7 attacks, and how we have been there to restore dignity to women on Tel Aviv’s streets. Next, learn about the Holocaust survivors residing at our assisted living home in Haifa as they enjoy relaxed outings, do gymnastics at the beachfront, and take a sunset stroll together.

On our international pages, discover how ICEJ branches around the world are supporting Israel. This includes a pro-Israel rally in Honduras that attracted over 10,000 Christians, ICEJ-USA launching a new initiative to defend Judeo-Christian values, ICEJ-South Africa sponsoring an essential refrigerated food truck, and a recent symposium in Bratislava where diplomats and politicians celebrated 35 years of friendship with Israel. Also, learn about an incredible ICEJ-sponsored ‘Isaiah 19’ conference that brought together Jewish, Arab and Gentile believers from Israel, Egypt, Lebanon, and even someone from Iran for prayer and fellowship in Cyprus. May you be blessed as you read through this latest edition of the Word from Jerusalem.
