Ever since US President Donald Trump announced a ceasefire in the war against Iran on April 8, the world has been anxiously waiting to see if the conflict would re-ignite or come to an end. Iran is still very defiant and has slow walked the negotiations mediated by Pakistan. Yet a deal does seem to be closer than ever, although its terms do not look good from Israel’s perspective. Is Iran going to give up its nuclear program? Will the Strait of Hormuz finally be opened? And is the Iran war almost over?
