Word from Jerusalem Sept/Oct issue

On the Path to Recovery!

By Staff Writers

We are delighted to bring you the September/October issue of Word from Jerusalem, detailing how the International Christian Embassy Jerusalem continues to stand with Israel through these challenging days.

Our cover feature “On the Path to Recovery!” provides an update on how, with your steadfast support, the ICEJ has been carrying out nine major rebuilding projects along the Gaza border in recent years to restore communal life and help thousands of evacuated residents return home in the wake of the October 7, 2023 mass terror invasion.

This issue also features two enlightening Bible teachings related to this year’s Feast theme, “The Lord Roars from Zion”, taken from Joel 3:16. Be sure to read ICEJ President Dr. Jürgen Bühler’s article “A Turning Point in Zion”, which focuses on such key developments as Spirit-filled revival, Jewish return to Israel, nations facing a decision concerning God’s purposes, God’s unshakable kingdom, His prophetic voice, and the promised complete physical and spiritual restoration of Israel.  As Christians, it is not only a time to understand the signs of the times, but also to respond.

Meanwhile, ICEJ Senior Vice President David Parsons also offers an important message that “God’s Election Over Israel Still Stands”. God’s choosing of Israel remains to this day, because He still has purposes which He wants to accomplish specifically through the Jewish nation and people as they are regathered to their ancestral homeland. Parsons emphasises the recurring lesson from the book of Genesis that God has the right to choose whom He wills to accomplish His purposes, and that we would do well to respect His enduring election of Israel.

Other reports inside our latest WFJ magazine tell how the ICEJ continues to support Aliyah by sponsoring flights for Jewish immigrants to Israel, with the most recent being a group of 139 French immigrants who were joyously welcomed in July at Ben Gurion Airport. Also discover how the ICEJ is caring for Holocaust survivors by taking residents of our Haifa Home back into the community with special trips and outings to learn more about the Land. Plus, read about the exciting happenings ICEJ is involved in across the nations. The ICEJ recently opened a new branch in Poland and also had the privilege of helping to launch a new pro-Israel caucus in the Fiji parliament!

Your prayers and support for the ICEJ ministry make a significant difference to our reach in Israel. Thank you for standing with Israel.
