Israel Faces the Giant!

We are pleased to present the May/June edition of the Word from Jerusalem magazine, which presents what we are currently doing – thanks to your faithful support – during this very challenging time for Israel.

In this issue, “Israel Faces the Giant!”, we cover how the International Christian Embassy Jerusalem has stepped up our urgent war relief aid here in Israel during the recent escalation with Iran. This includes assisting Holocaust survivors, helping displaced families impacted by Iranian missile attacks, providing food assistance for needy families, sponsoring trauma therapy, providing emergency medical equipment, upgrading bomb shelters, and much more. Your donations are making a huge difference in the lives of Israelis. In addition, we share how the residents of our Haifa Home for Holocaust survivors dealt with the effects of the Iranian war, as well as ICEJ Homecare putting love into action by caring for elderly Jewish immigrants during the war.

Be sure to also read the overview and commentary about the recent US-Israeli war with Iran by ICEJ Senior Vice President David Parsons, in “US-Israel blows leave Iran battered but not broken” and “The self-evident truths behind the Iran war”.

Meanwhile, make sure to start with the teaching by ICEJ President Dr. Jürgen Bühler on “The Church in a Bubble”, which offers insights into the Book of Esther, highlighting the miraculous reversal in which the Jews of ancient Persia prevailed while those who sought their destruction were themselves destroyed. Just as Esther had a choice to make, so too does the Church today. Yet many Christians and churches seem to live in a bubble, unmoved by the exponential growth in antisemitism we are seeing around the world. Christians who stand with Israel are facing increasing pressure and harassment. In response, the ICEJ is convening an urgent gathering called The Jerusalem Summit, from 9 to 11 June. Some of the finest theologians and scholars will address Israel-related theology, the biblical foundations of Zionism, and how to deal honestly with our past Church history. For further information and to register for this timely and significant event, please visit jerusalemsummit.net

You also will see that the ICEJ continues our support for Aliyah, providing pre-Aliyah arrangements, flights, and integration assistance to help settle these new immigrants in their ancestral homeland. Plus our international branches are hosting pro-Israel conferences and rallies around the world.

Thank you for your continued support for the ICEJ ministry.
