We are pleased to bring you the newest edition of our Word From Jerusalem magazine. This July/August issue has extensive reporting on the emergency Jerusalem Summit we convened in June, which brought together theologians, scholars, pastors and ministry leaders from around the world to address the surge in global antisemitism and anti-Zionism since the October 7 terror invasion of southern Israel. The special gathering also dealt with the persistent problem of Replacement theology, which is taking on new forms and stems back to Council of Nicaea some 1700 years ago.

This latest magazine includes several teachings from the Jerusalem Summit, and the messages delivered to us by Israeli President Isaac Herzog, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, and States Ambassador to Israel Mike Huckabee. We also have included a new Affirmation of the Nicene Creed which seeks to restore to the Church due respect for the Jewishness of Jesus and the Hebraic roots of our faith.

You also can read about ICEJ events recently held in the Czech Republic and Indonesia. Plus, we have updates on our exciting rebuilding projects in Kibbutz Be’eri, and our ongoing efforts to feed needy Israelis severely impacted by nearly three years of war. Even our most recent Hands On Tour got involved in this compassionate work, while you also will see that every day, ICEJ-funded food trucks are distributing essential provisions to hundreds of families around the country.

In addition, the ICEJ has recently helped another group of Bnei Menashe from India return home after 2700 years of exile, even as we prepare to bring two full planes of French Jews making Aliyah this summer.

Meanwhile, we have the most recent updates from our special Home for Holocaust survivors in Haifa, where things are always happening to care for these precious elderly Jews.

Thank you for your continued support for the ICEJ ministry, and “the Lord bless you and keep you; the Lord make his face shine upon you and be gracious to you; the Lord lift up his countenance upon you, and give you peace.”

Blessings & peace from Jerusalem.
