Happy Rosh HaShanah
By Dr Jürgen Bühler, ICEJ President

Dear friends and faithful partners,

As the sound of the shofar once again proclaims the arrival of Rosh HaShanah, we want to send our warmest greetings to you and your loved ones as we enter a new year on the Jewish calendar.

Rosh HaShanah invites us to pause. It is a time to look back with gratitude, to look within with humility and to look ahead with faith. Across Israel and in Jewish communities worldwide, families will gather to celebrate the New Year. Once again, the ancient call of the shofar will remind us that God remains faithful from generation to generation.

After another year marked by extraordinary challenges, our prayers for Israel and the Jewish people carry particular weight. We pray for better days ahead – days of peace, healing and restoration. And above all, we pray that Israel will experience anew the faithfulness and keeping power of the God of Israel.

For all of us who love Zion and stand with Israel in prayer, may this new year also deepen our trust in the Lord and strengthen our resolve to remain faithful friends and intercessors. Whatever the coming year may hold, we can enter it with confidence, knowing that He who watches over Israel neither slumbers nor sleeps.

From all of us at the International Christian Embassy Jerusalem, we wish you and your family a year filled with God’s goodness, peace and abundant blessings.

Shanah Tovah U’Metukah! May you have a good and sweet new year!
