In 2020, in the middle of the Covid crisis, a call Center was established in Haifa and surroundings for Holocaust Survivors still living in their own homes. This center provides a listening ear for those that are very lonely and practical help in the form of food parcels, hot meals, and small repairs or help to go to medical appointments. In 2021 new branches were opened in Jerusalem and other parts of the country.

The new national call center operates 24 hours around the clock on weekdays and is manned by staff and community volunteers from across Israeli society, as well as a youth performing their year of national service. These teams will be actively reaching out to scores of Holocaust survivors every day to inquire about their condition and needs, and then work to immediately assist them.
