In over a month of fighting, the United States and Israel have managed to take out dozens of top leaders of the Iranian regime and destroy much of its military hardware and armament factories. In response, Iran has targeted nearly every country in the region and rocked the world energy markets by closing the Strait of Hormuz. While President Trump now looks for a deal to end the war that could leave some regime leaders in place, the big question is whether we will still see a major uprising of the Iranian people to topple their oppressive rulers. To help us answer this question, we turn to Khosro Isfahani, an Iranian researcher and activist hoping to bring democracy to his native land.
