Word from Jerusalem Sept/Oct 2025
“…the children of Israel shall return and seek the Lord…” Hosea 3:5

We are delighted to share highlights of the ICEJ’s Ministry and insightful teaching articles with you in this edition of the Word from Jerusalem magazine.

Be Inspired by the Word

With the ICEJ’s Feast of Tabernacles event less than a month away, ICEJ Senior Vice President & Spokesman David Parsons provides an informative teaching on the Feast theme, “Ten From Every Nation,” taken from Zechariah 8:23. In his teaching “The Fullness of the Gentiles,” Parsons explains how the nations will ascend to Jerusalem in the last days, transformed by the Holy Spirit. Each year at this joyous holiday, we already taste the joy of the age to come.

You too can be part of this year’s Feast in person or by joining us online. Find out more at feast.icej.org.

Meanwhile, ICEJ President Dr. Jürgen Bühler shares on “Seeds of Displacement: The Earliest Form of Replacement Theology”in our pages, covering various teaching excerpts from the recent Nicaea Teaching series, Nicaea Revisited: Recovering the Jewish Roots of Christian Faith.” Read more on pages 8-9.

As Israel endures this prolonged season of warfare, uncertainty, and national grief, we have seen the Lord answer prayer after prayer. We would like to thank you for your faithfulness in praying daily with us during our online Global Prayer Gathering. Be encouraged as you read pages 10-11, where we share about the faithfulness of our God, who hears and responds to the cries of His people.

Bringing Hope and Meaningful Change

The ICEJ is fully committed to supporting the return of the Jewish people to their homeland, Israel. Through your faithful support, we have recently been able to sponsor new immigrant flights from France, Ethiopia, and our largest flight in 15 years of Jews making Aliyah from Britain.

In addition, read more of the recent events in Jerusalem on our Inside the Embassy pages, including a special meeting between ICEJ Leadership and US Ambassador Mike Hackabee. We also introduce you to a new resident at the ICEJ’s Home for Holocaust survivors who shares his story and journey to Israel. Our AID projects continue to offer comfort and support that widely impacts Israeli communities in both the north and south as they begin rebuilding their lives after October 7. Find out more on pages 13-15.

Global Impact

The ICEJ’s international branches continue to work diligently in their countries to fight antisemitism and rally support for Israel. See highlights of recent events held in Australia, the United Kingdom, and Germany’s prayer tour visit to Israel. We also introduce a new ICEJ representative in Indonesia and celebrate the opening of an ICEJ branch in Iceland!  Thank you for your continued support. May you be blessed as you read through this edition of the Word from Jerusalem magazine.
