Word From Jerusalem May/June 2025
May/June 2025 edition

We are so excited to share our latest Word from Jerusalem magazine with you! The May/June 2025 issue is packed with informative and inspiring content that we think you will really enjoy.

First, we feature an essay by ICEJ President Dr. Jürgen Bühler on the 1700 year anniversary of the Nicaea Council, which was so crucial to setting Christian doctrine but also deliberately distanced the Church from its Jewish roots. Please join our special 100-day call to prayer and fasting from 18 May to 24 August to repair that negative impact of the Nicaea gathering. Through this prayer call, we want to encourage repentance, remembrance, reconciliation and restoration.

Our Feast of Tabernacles theme this year is ‘Ten from Every Nation’, based on Zechariah 8:23. Senior Vice President & Spokesman David Parsons digs deeper into this theme, providing an insightful teaching of how God is seeking a ‘righteous remnant’ from every nation. Be sure to read more about this on pages 8-9. Please also visit our Feast website at feast.icej.org to see the amazing packages available and plan to join us here in Jerusalem this Succot, 6-13 October.

The ICEJ is immensely grateful for your continued support, which allows us to be your hands and feet in the Land of Israel. Our AID work – bringing comfort to the nation of Israel –continues to make a steady and significant impact through Hands-on Serving Tours, delivering gift packages to communities evacuated from their kibbutzim in the aftermath of the October 7 attacks, and so much more.

The ICEJ also is funding a series of major renovation and rebuilding projects for the communities near the Gaza border, which will have a lasting effect as they return to their homes and villages. The facilities we are building will provide critical services to the most vulnerable in these courageous farming towns, especially the youth and elderly residents, and those in need of trauma care. In addition to this ambitious array of rebuilding projects, the ICEJ also is continuing to bring Jews home on Aliyah flights from around the world, to care for precious Holocaust survivors, and lots more! Read about all these exciting projects, plus the recent joy experienced by Holocaust survivors in our special Home for them in Haifa.

Meanwhile, our international branches are also working hard to combat antisemitism and build support for Israel. Find out more on our international pages, and plan to connect with an ICEJ branch in your region. Visit the ICEJ website at icej.org to locate a branch near you.

Be blessed as you read through this issue of the Word from Jerusalem. Thank you for your faithful support and prayers.
