ICEJ extends a blessed Passover season to all our friends.

Dear Friends and Prayer Partners,

Chag Pesach Sameach!

During this Passover season, we will reflect on the incredible journey of the Jewish people from their dramatic Exodus from Egypt, to their long walk with God in the Wilderness, and then their triumph of being a free nation in the Promised Land.

When Passover begins at sunset this Wednesday, Jewish families will gather around the table for a special Pesach Seder meal, centered on reading from the Torah and the Haggadah about the story of their Exodus from bondage in Egypt. This family celebration comes with many songs and traditions that emphasize the holiday’s biblical and prophetic significance. They will recall the hardships endured, their deliverance in the face of their enemies, and the faithfulness of God who led them to freedom!

Today, Israel could use a mighty deliverance from the Lord out of its current difficult circumstances as well. Please be praying for the people of Israel as they keep the Passover during a tense war that has lasted more than 30 months so far and has reached a critical turning point. May God deliver them from these present troubles and give peace to Israel.

May we as Christians also remember God’s unchanging nature at this time. He is the same yesterday, today and forever. As He miraculously delivered His people out of Egypt, may we know His miracle-working power and redeeming love in our lives today.

The ICEJ wishes you a blessed Passover. May this Passover season bring you peace, renewed hope, and much joy.

Blessings from Jerusalem,

Dr. Jürgen Bühler, ICEJ President
