ICEJ Year in Review: Israel in Crisis
Published on: 6.1.2026By: Staff Writers
The year now behind us has been marked by profound shock and repercussions of war against terror. Israel has faced a reality few could have imagined, with communities displaced, families traumatised and entire regions living under the constant threat of attack.
In response, the International Christian Embassy Jerusalem mobilised supporters around the world through the Israel in Crisis initiative. What followed was not a single campaign, but a sustained, coordinated effort; combining emergency relief, humanitarian assistance, infrastructure support and long-term community care.
The overview below reflects the scope of that response. It is not merely a list of projects or numbers, but a snapshot of how global Christian solidarity was translated into tangible help on the ground — reaching vulnerable families, frontline communities and key national services during one of Israel’s most challenging years.
In 2025, the ICEJ Aid Department focused on projects in three categories: Aliyah & Integration, Israel in Crisis, and a Future and Hope. This campaign brought support, funding, care, and prayer, to hundreds of people and dozens of communities throughout Israel as the ICEJ funded 726 Aliyah flights, 16 new bomb shelters, 473 Computer kits, and transported 250,000 food parcels and 105 tons of humanitarian equipment in 2025 while investing in Gaza Envelope rebuilding projects, serving and standing with the kibbutzim most deeply damaged by October 7.
The ICEJ sponsored a Greenhouse and four classrooms at the Agro-Tech School in Sde Nitzan, an Animal Corner at the Kibbutz Urim Animal Therapy Farm, a Kindergarten and Music Therapy Center in Kibbutz Kfar Azza, and a Youth Activity Center and Ne’ot Be’eri Elderly Care Center in Kibbutz Be’eri.
Below are figures from 2025 regarding Israel in Crisis.
-16 new bomb shelters installed; one additional ambulances donated.
-207 communication devices for northern & southern communities.
-Trauma retreat for 35-40 terror survivors.
-Rapid response kits to 10 vulnerable municipalities.
-Supported beds and lifesaving equipment to ALEH.
-Furniture for Bat Yam Evacuees-for temporary housing.
-Emergency Grants for Evacuees of War with Iran.
