MUSICIAN Length of Service: Three weeks to one month Instrumentalists are needed to build a full orchestra and rhythm section. The ability to read music and retain information is required in this fast-paced work environment. DANCE/PAGEANTRY Length of Service: Three weeks to one month A. This element requires men and women with background in technical training (ballet/jazz/modern). Due to limited preparation time, skills of choreography and improvisation are welcomed. Patience is a valued asset in this international collaborative environment. B. Familiarity handling flags, props and banners are required to complete the pageantry facet of the dance company. COSTUME DEPARTMENT Length of Service: One to three months This work begins about five months before the Feast creating all the beautiful costumes worn by dancers, worship team, ushers and hostesses. The costume department needs seamstresses, people to iron, fold and categorize costumes, etc. You must be willing to follow close directions and work long hours. It is not necessary to be here for five months, you can choose to serve for shorter periods of time. BOOTH SALES Length of Service: Approx 10 days This department is responsible for manning the ICEJ Booths selling books, tapes, etc. Good people skills are required, along with the ability to perform transactions in different currencies. GRAPHICS DEPARTMENT Length of Service: One month or more This department is responsible for Feast publications and signage. Knowledge in computer design layout is helpful. If possible, we would like for you to be here one month (or earlier) before the beginning of the Feast. HOSTESSING/USHERING Length of Service: Two weeks This department assists pilgrims in various areas, helping to direct them at all Feast events. You need excellent people skills and the stamina to stand for long periods at a time. This category requires people with patience, a servant’s heart and flexibility. HOUSING Length of Service: One to three months This department is responsible primarily to help with lodging and accommodations for all those who come to work at the Feast. Great flexibility and a love for people are necessary, as well as basic computer knowledge. You would be working with the Housing Coordinator and seeing to the comfort and needs of all the Feast workers. KINGDOM KIDS Length of Service: Two weeks to one month If you have experience or are interested in children’s ministry the Feast offers a nursery (0-2 years), a 3-6 year old group and a 6-12 year old group requiring volunteers with a heart and understanding of Israel to pass onto the next generation. You must be able to come the week before the Feast to help with crafts, lesson plans and to set up. LOGISTICS Length of Service: Three weeks to three months The Logistics department assists in stage construction and painting. This department does general maintenance, moving equipment and generally working with the stage production crew in setting up for the Feast. Strength and stamina are needed to maintain long hours before, during and after the Feast. PHOTOGRAPHY Length of Service: Two weeks to one month The Photography department requires volunteers in two categories: A. Photographers of professional experience who will take SLR photos of all Feast events, etc. B. Photo sales people who enjoy working with people to take orders at the photo table. You must be able to give change in several different currencies. REGISTRATION Length of Service: Two weeks to one month Registration requires people who enjoy meeting people from around the world and assisting them to register for Feast. Basic computer and cash handling skills are needed. A. Several people are needed to arrive early for data entry and set up. B. The main group will come two weeks later to serve in registration. STAGE PRODUCTION Length of Service: Three weeks This department requires people with artistic skills who would be responsible for working with props and maintaining and dressing the stage at the Feast. You must be creative and willing to work long hours. TAPE DEPARTMENT Length of Service: Approx 10 days This department is responsible for recording Feast seminars and duplicating tapes for sale. Experience with sound systems and tape recordings are needed. You may also be asked to help with passing out translation headsets at night. TECHNICAL PRODUCTION Length of Service: Three weeks A. This department requires someone comfortable working with Power Point/Easy Worship, including projection and design of lyrics, presentations and visual elements used throughout the Feast. B. This position requires someone with a strong technical knowledge and an ear for mixing and mastering music to be recorded onto the Feast music compilation CD. TRANSLATION Length of Service: Approx 10 days A. Volunteers fluent in more than one language are needed to simultaneously translate seminars and evening services from a translation booth. Written translation work may also be involved in this position. B. Volunteers are required to hand out translation headsets each night to non-English speaking pilgrims. VIDEO & TV PRODUCTION Length of Service: Approx 10 days This position requires someone with technical knowledge of Video & TV production to assist in setting up and maintaining equipment for the production of the Feast videos. |
