Dear Friend,
The State of Israel celebrates 60 years of independence this year, and you are invited to join us for the special events and festivities during this year's Feast of Tabernacles. The week of the Feast of Tabernacles is unique. Always with weather perfect days of early Autumn, the city of Jerusalem and all of Israel is alive in Festival attire; people out and about the city streets and throughout the country. This is a great opportunity to meet Israelis in the relaxed atmosphere of the Holiday.
We are proud of all our accomplishments such as in settling the land, absorbing millions of Jews from around the world and building a vibrant modern democracy with industry and sciences. Israel welcomes all to visit, regardless of faith or ethnicity.
We have succeeded during our trying times through our steadfast faith in the Almighty's unwavering love and guidance. Continuously, Jewish and Christian communities throughout the world have extended their hands of support as we have made our way.
Now as we commemorate and give thanks for the Lord's bounty, it is justly fitting that you as representatives of these communities join with us in celebration. Especially, I call out to all Women's Ministries. Empower women to influence the family, church and community by building bridges worldwide, especially in Israel.
The Ministry of Tourism in conjunction with city and regional councils, museums, and tourism promotion boards, have planned many events and celebrations. I am sure you will be enthralled and take home significant experiences of this unique visit.
I and the staff of the Ministry of Tourism look forward to personally welcome all of you.
Sincerely,
