PRESS STATEMENTS
18 September, 2007 Welcome at Succot
It is disappointing to learn that rabbinic authorities are trying to discourage the Jewish public from participating in this traditional march. They suspect that parts of our group are engaged in missionary activity, but the ICEJ has never conducted any missionary programs in Israel and we instruct our Feast pilgrims against such activity during their stay here. 30 August, 2007 ICEJ's response to the Evangelical letter to President Bush
We respect the right of American citizens to engage with their government on matters of such immense importance as the Israeli-Arab conflict. We cannot agree, however, with the historical and moral equivalence that these Christian leaders have drawn between Israel and the Palestinians, nor with their exegesis of Scripture. (read more)
20June, 2007 ICEJ caring for Sudanese refugees in Israel
The International Christian Embassy Jerusalem on Sunday assumed responsibility over a group of 37 Sudanese refugees (18 children, 19 adults) who had entered Israel near Eilat over the weekend to reach what they described as "safety" and "freedom." (read more)
16 May, 2007 A letter to Jerusalem Mayor Uri Lupolianski
The ICEJ joins Jerusalem's mayor in celebrating the 40th anniversary of the reunification of Jerusalem. The momentous events of June 1967 demonstrated once more that God is indeed sovereign over human history, as is declared in the second Psalm, which also affirms a glorious future for Jerusalem. 29 August, 2006: A Defense of Christian Zionism
with Bridges for Peace and Christian Friends of Israel
It is with concern that we note the negative opinions about Christian Zionism voiced by certain church clerics in Jerusalem in a recent statement entitled, "The Jerusalem Declaration on Christian Zionism". Using inflammatory language they have expressed views that are far from the truth and notably one-sided, while ignoring the jihadist goals of the Hamas government, turning a blind eye to terrorism and fostering a view of the conflict that is detrimental to real peace. 29 August, 2006: ICEJ Statement on Embassies Moving from Jerusalem
The International Christian Embassy Jerusalem opened its doors in 1980 to express solidarity with Israel concerning the Knesset declaration that a united Jerusalem is and should remain the eternal capital of the State of Israel. At the time we watched with dismay as thirteen foreign embassies withdrew from Jerusalem in protest and relocated to Tel Aviv. (read more)
27 June, 2006: The Jerusalem World Pride Parade
with Bridges for Peace and Christian Friends of Israel
Conveying the views of millions of Christians worldwide, we the undersigned ministries based in Jerusalem wish to publicly register our dissent to the World Pride gay parade planned for this city in August. We do so out of our great love and respect for Jerusalem, the only city in the world that the Bible decrees as holy. (read more)
02 September, 2005 Katrina Zionism
As usual, the judgment pundits have rushed to link the tragic events of Hurricane Katrina with the Gaza withdrawal. America is being judged because of its foreign policy and pressure that is being directed towards Israel. This is the thesis and it is wrong! - It is not time to pronounce judgment but to repent. 21 July, 2005 Special ICEJ Release on Disengagement
The Bible is clear about the fact that those nations that divide the Land of Israel will incur the disfavor of God. So, the conflict now unfolding in Gaza has serious implications for all the world. The Land of Canaan belongs to God! (read more)

A Biblical Stand on Zionism (Part 1)
A Biblical Stand on Zionism (Part 2)
A concise explanation of the theological stance of the ICEJ as a ministry clearly founded on 'Biblical Zionism' as opposed to 'political Zionism', this article deals in detail with what the Bible teaches and does not teach about the issue of the Land of Israel, God's Covenant with Abraham and His eternal purpose for the redemption of the World 'through Abraham's seed'. A must read for any Christian grappling with the complicated issues of God's Justice, Sovereignty and the question of Israel in these turbulent times. (read more)
Foundations of Christian Zionism
The Christian Zionist Movement has grown in numbers and in impact in recent years. Is it, as many claim, a political movement, or is it firmly based on the teachings of God's Word? Does it have a history and, if so, who have been its leaders and supporters? (read more)
POSITION PAPERS
Swords Into Ploughshares: Christian Zionism and the Battle of Armageddon
By David Parsons (in printable pdf format)
Those who offer support to Israel in the Christian world are being delegitimized and demonized by a growing chorus of critics in the media, politics and even the Church. Our moral and biblical stand is under unprecedented scrutiny. We are accused of blocking the way to peace in the Middle East or of having some dark 'end time' agenda that seeks to hasten the Apocalypse and force one last, massive convert-or-die scenario on the Jewish people. This monograph addresses the charges against Christian Zionism in relation to the way this biblical belief system is understood and sdvocated by the ICEJ. (read more)
European Leadership Funding
By Jürgen Bühler (in printable pdf format)
The European Union and its member states represent the largest single donor bloc financing the Palestinian Authority and its affiliated institutions. This detailed paper published on behalf of the European Coalition for Israel and presented to lawmakers in Brussels in September 2005, makes the case that European taxpayers’ money has been channelled to the PA and its affiliates in ways that contradict core EU principles, contributing to the prevailing culture of corruption and incitement whilst failing to address the underlying causes of Palestinian poverty.
