Adopt a Holocaust Survivor

International Holocaust Remembrance Day

January 27th is considered International Holocaust Remembrance Day in honor of those who suffered through this tragedy.  Join with us in adopting a needy Holocaust survivor to participate in helping heal the wounds of this horrific event.

ICEJ Aid offers you the opportunity to care for a precious person who suffered the horror of the Holocaust.  It has come to light in recent years that because of difficult economic circumstances many of these aging residents have been forced to choose between food and medicine.  Many are also lonely, left with their terrible memories. The goals of this program are:

  • Meeting their basic needs by adequately supplying healthy fresh food and medical needs
  • Opening the door for a special program that provides ongoing friendship and contact from Jewish students.
  • Providing payment of urgent utility bills.

Thanks to donors from the nations, ICEJ Aid is sponsoring 44 survivors.  There are so many more!!  And time is running out for them.  Please consider adopting a Holocaust Survivor today. Ask your church or friends to consider helping you in this commitment.

Many Holocaust Survivors are still waiting for help

Sponsorship is $US230/€180 per month and we request a commitment of at least one year. A fellowship group may like to jointly adopt a survivor. Part adoption is also welcome. One-time gifts are used for special needs of the survivors. Write to icejaid@icej.org for further information and a commitment form.
