The generous donations to the ICEJ's urgent appeal:
"Relief for Children in Bomb Shelters"
have helped us activate a number of projects to assist families in the embattled northern part of Israel.
These include:

-
180 meals a day for a week delivered to children and their families in Kiryat Shmona bomb shelters by the L’Chaim charitable group on the Golan.

A week-long Dead Sea outing for 30 children from a church congregation in Haifa.
-
Assisting a Christian Arab congregation in the Galilee provide shelter for their children.
-
Providing funding for kids' activities at week-long camps in the ultra-Orthodox Jewish neighborhood of Mea Shearim for children brought in from bomb shelters in the North.
-
Sponsoring three buses filled with children from some of the hardest hit areas of the North (Kiryat Shmona, Karmiel, Nahariya) for excursions to Tel Aviv water parks, etc.
-
Paying for the assembly of 500 "Activity Kits" for children in bomb shelters. These kits include games, snack food, and stress relief activities. The project is in conjunction with the Children’s Department of King Of Kings Assembly in Jerusalem, and the kits are being distributed to the hardest hit areas in the North.
-
Assisting about 100 children and parents from needy families to relocate to a hostel in the Jerusalem Forest, covering their transportation, baby needs, entrance fees, escorts, and recreational activities in Jerusalem.
-
Paying for the transportation and all meals and activity expenses for children in Karmiel to be placed in private homes in Ramot, a neighborhood in northwest Jerusalem.
-
Distributing toys and games to several hundred children in bomb shelters in Haifa and elsewhere in the North.
-
Helping the Municipality of Netanya social welfare department to provide meals, baby needs and pharmaceuticals to children with no means to flee targeted areas.
-
Providing food and activities for numerous other families on a case-by-case basis.
Thank you to all those who have given.
The requests for assistance continue to outpace the amounts we have received. The more funds placed in our hands now, the more we are able to do at this critical time.
The children of the north still need our help!
